Toshi is passionate about innovative programming, and sharing the song repertoire with as wide an audience as possible. To this end, education and outreach projects are particularly important to Toshi. As a firm believer in the power of music to make a positive impact on society, to unite across socio-cultural boundaries, and to inspire through the showcasing of human creativity, Toshi is dedicated to connecting with audiences in different settings. Interactive Concerts

These more interactive concerts last between 30 and 60 minutes. As individual songs are generally quite short in duration, the format of an informal recital makes it particularly suitable for primary and secondary schools.  Including a discussion of the repertoire chosen, Toshi will also answer any questions about the music and the composers themselves, or more general questions about life as a singer!

Toshi has a recent Enhanced DBS Certificate.

House Concerts

These 'House Concerts' give audience members and clients the opportunity to host a chamber music concert in their own homes for their chosen guests. Repertoire and recital length can be tailored to suit the wishes of the client.

Seminars and Lecture Recitals

Tailored to suit the intended audience, these typically last between 1 hour and 1 hour 30mins with a short break, and are generally intended for an older audience from secondary school upwards. The music is discussed in detail, placed within a wider historical and musical framework, followed by performance of the work.
